SAVE [USA] Missouri Mayflower Society Scholarship

Scholarship Description

The Education Committee also has a scholarship program for high school seniors in the State of Missouri who are planning to attend a college or university. This contest requires an essay on a topic relating to the Mayflower Pilgrims. The Scholarships presently offered include one-time awards of $1500, $1000, and $500, funded by member contributions and corporate matching grants. Minimum Requirement

The Missouri Mayflower Society Scholarship Contest is open to any high school senior who is a resident of the State of Missouri and a Citizen of the United States, and who is planning to attend an institution of higher learning in the fall of 2019. For 2019, three scholarship awards are being offered, in the amount of $1,500 for 1st place, $1000 for 2nd place, and $500 for 3rd place. The scholarships will be payable to the students’ accounts at the colleges or universities in which they have enrolled. Mayflower descent is not a requirement, but may be considered along with other qualifications
