SAVE [USA] Bud Daniels Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship Description

Daniels had a life-long devotion to improving the lives of rural Americans and to keeping farmers on the land. He served as Montana Farmers Union president from 1989-1993, was National Farmers Union vice president in 1992, and in 1999 he received the Meritorious Service Award for his contributions to Farmers Union and to American agriculture.

The Montana Farmers Union will present a $500 scholarship in memory of Bud Daniels (1928-2000) made available through the efforts of the Education Committee and MFU. *check back later for updates on scholarship availability.

Minimum Requirement

- Must be a sophomore or above attending a Montana University, College or Vocational Technical College.
- Applicant must carry at least 12 semester hours or 18 quarter hours
- Applicant must have GPA of 2.8 or better and maintain that GPA during the scholarship year.
