A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An individual must also take one or a series of real estate courses and complete a licensure exam in order to work in this field.
The job outlook for this position looks fair over the next 10 years, keeping in mind that geographical differences may exist. There will likely be a lot of competition for these jobs. It is fairly easy to get into this line of work, but it can be difficult for newcomers to be successful.
